Lead Metal Task Force
The Lead Metal Task Force (LTF) has been set up to jointly take the required actions to minimize the regulatory impact coming from the recent REACH and OSH regulatory initiatives through targeted communications to the regulators and coordination with other lead-using industries.
To clarify the evolving regulatory status, you can download an informal two pager on lead metal provided by the task force coordinator REACHLaw in July 2024 (MPTB_RL_MO_0156 issue 1.2 replaces all previous versions):

Lead-free Transition Working Group
Objective of the group:
To coordinate the implementation of the roadmap for the transition to Pb free technologies for electronic manufacturing a Lead-free Transition Working Group (LFTWG) was established within the ESCC system by initiative of the MPTB and CTB and operates under the rules and limitations of the ESCC system.
WG has recently drafted the Lead-free Transition Roadmap (Issue 2 from 2024).

Chromates Space Task Force (STF)
The Chromates Space Task Force aims to monitor the regulatory treatment of chromium trioxide and other Cr(VI) substances under REACH authorisation and restriction processes and provide up-to-date compliance guidelines to space downstream users.
Under the STF a memo has been drafted on Continued use of chromium trioxide in chemical conversion coatings for space hardware after the REACH authorisation sunset date on 21 September 2017 (current version: MPTB-RL-MO-0157, issue 6, from 22.8.2024)
